Horse–Human Relationships
Exploring what happens within us, within our horses, and between us.
What if understanding our horses more deeply also requires becoming curious about ourselves?
Our histories, nervous systems, expectations, and relational patterns influence how we experience and respond to our horses. And our horses bring their own experiences, sensitivities, and ways of communicating into every interaction.
I'm a psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience, including years of practicing and teaching equine-facilitated psychotherapy. My work draws upon trauma-informed, somatic, and relational approaches to explore how we connect, communicate, and respond to one another.
Here, I bring those perspectives into the horse–human relationship, inviting us to explore not only what our horses are communicating, but what we might discover about ourselves along the way.
